INTERNET ETIQUETTE


Netiquette or Internet etiquette is ethics in using the Internet. Internet as a collection of communities, requires rules needed for reference as Internet users, where this rule regarding limits and how best to utilize the internet facility.


Some of the existing rules on Nettiquete are:
Securing yourself first, the intention is to secure all your property, can begin securing your computer by installing anti - virus or personal firewall. Do not be too trusting with the Internet, so you can easily upload your personal data. and you must be absolutely sure that the URL has been secured. The main thing is respect other users on the internet are:
  • Not accustomed to using random information, such as plagiarism.
  • Do not try to take advantage illegally from the Internet, such crimes no credit card theft
  • Do not try to interfere with the privacy of others, to try to steal information that is actually very limited.
  • Do not use all capital letters too much, because it resembles the activity screaming in real society.
  • Do flamming (stirring), trolling (off-topic) or junking (put up a post useless) when berforum.
Netiquette serves as a set of general guidelines that can make Internet communication useful. For example, sending dozens of e -mail chain letters to a friend may seem like a fun diversion, but it can become irritated to the person receiving. Sending large volumes of impersonal emails or other messages to another person known as "spam" and are often preferred. There are certain general rules, such as sending "spam" which is generally considered bad etiquette on the Internet, but the online community may have a certain culture and their own netiquette standards.

Netiquette can be beneficial in terms of preventing people from sending communications to waste other people's time. It can also prevent people from posting inappropriate content or bad on the Internet. For example, the text is written in capital letters can be difficult to read and type in all capital letters is often considered "shouting" online communication and preferably within the Internet community lots.
